Member of rail staff racially abused at Merseyside station

British Transport Police is today releasing CCTV images after a member of rail staff was racially abused at Fazakerley rail station in Liverpool.

The incident happened at 12pm on Saturday 3 August.

A man is reported to have shouted racist abuse at a train guard after missing a train.

Officers believe the man in the images may have information that could help their investigation.

Anyone who recognises him is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016 or by calling ‪0800 40 50 40‬ and quoting reference number 267 of 03/08/19.
