Unite Martial Arts did exceedingly  well on 7th September 2013 after returning from the National Taekwondo Championships in Manchester with a Bronze Medal.

The championships saw over 600 of the very best in the country including members of the Olympic team compete for the prestige title of National Champion.  Ellie Mawdsley from Unite Taekwondo based in Southport fought off competitors to make it to the semi finals. Well done Ellie

The couple of weeks later at the Ultimate Taekwondo Championships on 22nd September we tuck a small team of 7 young fighters to try their hand a sport style Taekwondo. We ended the day winning two gold medals and five silver medals, which was a big boost for the team and certainly give them a taste of success

Zak Cribb, and poppy Mac Kay both aged 8 won Gold with the fight being stopped in the early rounds with Technical KO’s. A big well done
