The Shire take the charity cup with a last minute winner in a thriller at Haig Avenue last night (Wednesday 3 May).
The Shire took on undefeated Southport & Ainsdale in a hard fought game. The shire were reduced to ten men after hard man Alex Barlow stamped on the opposition in the 70th minute.
The Shire still came out on top with earlier goals from Alex Barlow, Jay Basson and a last minute winner from golden boy Matty Harris caused scenes of mass celebration.
