A kind hearted Good Samaritan on Manchester Road has been knitting and producing special masks to help those who need them during the Coronavirus outbreak.
A limited number of masks have been donated to the Daily Stop newsagents on Manchester Road by a local resident for vulnerable customers to freely take advantage of.
The masks have come as a major comfort to those in need.
One beneficiary wrote to OTS News to say “I have no idea who makes them but I was so delighted to be given one the other day when I went to get my paper.
“I’m at risk but I don’t really have nobody to go and get me a paper so it’s my only contact with the outside world.
“To have a mask gives me a little comfort in a difficult time.”
