    Man runs into parked coach in Southport after falling asleep (Otsnews.tv)

    Man runs into parked coach in Southport after falling asleep at the wheel

    Emergency services were called to Liverpool Road this afternoon after Ford Fiesta ran into the rear of a parked coach waiting to collect school children, Tuesday 26 April 2016.

    Witnesses at the scene said that driver had fallen asleep at the wheel due to him having a cold. An investigation into the accident is underway.

    Fortunately the driver only suffered minor injuries and no children were on the coach at the time of the collision.
