A man was taken hospital after being knocked down by a Renault Megane on Liverpool Road, this morning, Saturday 14 November 2015.
Police were called to the junction of Nixon’s Lane at around 6.30am, to reports of a road traffic collision. A man aged around 30-years old had been knocked off his bike by a car pulling out of Nixon’s Lane.
Paramedics helped the injured cyclist into the ambulance. His condition is not thought to be serious.
