First up, Helen met Ray Mutch and Debz Clarke from MakeItWorkshop. They have become a well established community interest group with several premises in Cambridge Walks.

If you have passed by a few dozen times and never ventured in thinking it was simply a vintage shop – then next time walk through the door and ask a few questions!

The work to an ethos of reducing waste, re-using what can be saved and giving back to the community by fixing equipment they had thought useless.

They also offer placements and training to various community groups and is run by volunteers.

They are passionate about all they do and have now expanded into exciting new premises at 16 Princes Street.
