Major railway disruption after person struck by train

Cancellations to services at St Michaels Due to a person being hit by a train at St Michaels the Southport and Hunts Cross line is disrupted.

Train services running through this station may be cancelled or suspended between Liverpool Cntrl Northern and Liverpool South Pw Ll. Disruption is expected until 09:30 23/07.

Customer Advice:Owing to a person being struck by a train in the St Michaels area, services are suspended between Liverpool Central and Liverpool South Parkway.

Replacement road transport services are conveying passengers between Liverpool Cntrl Northern and Liverpool South Pw Ll in both directions until further notice. Customers may also use the Arriva 82 bus service as long as Train tickets have been stamped by a Merseyrail ticket office.
