Emergency services are currently reacting to a major incident in Birkdale after a paramotor crashed near Royal Birkdale.
Emergency crews including major incident response units have raced to the scene of a microlight crash after it crashed into the dunes near to Royal Birkdale this evening.
It’s understood the pilot hasn’t survived.
An investigation into the cause is now underway and an update will be released shortly.
