Magical Fairy Kingdom at Botanics Fernery

The Fernery at Botanic Park, Southport, has been transformed into a Magical Fairy Kingdom for the Christmas period.

Entrance to the Fairy Kingdom is free and open from 10am to 4pm every day until December 24.

On December 22, from 12pm to 1pm the fairy-tale Princesses Snow White, Elsa and Belle, will be making a special guest appearance at the Magical Kingdom. Children can have their picture taken with the Princesses, from ‘Princess Parties Liverpool’, for a small charge of 50p, with all monies going towards future events in the park.

Visitors will have the chance to make Yule Logs and Christmas Wreaths with Make and Take Crafts, and Shy Lowen will be onsite offering Pony Rides.

There will also be a Fairy Trail, so that Children can find the fairies in their houses, hidden around the park.

Christmas refreshments will be available in the form of mince pies and non-alcoholic mulled wine.

The Magical Fairy Kingdom has been created in partnership between the Friends of Botanic Gardens and the Community Parks Officers at Sefton Council.
