The emergency services were called to the promenade at around 5.15pm today following a report of a Mercedes losing control at the mini roundabout, Monday 18 May 2015.
Fortunately no pedestrians were struck by the vehicle and the surrounding wall stopped the Mercedes plummeting into the lake.
