Councillor David Barton, a prominent campaigner for the restoration of Southport Town Centre frequently speaks up on behalf of his many constituents at the Sefton Full Council Meetings.
Councillor Barton, asides from voicing a number of local neighbourhood concerns, spoke up of the need for the Liberal Democrat Opposition to act more professionally and has called on Southport’s ex MP to issue a formal apology on behalf of his serial salacious Press Releases against the Local Authority, which he believes are in fact undermining progress being made by both the Public and Private Sectors to regenerate Southport’s Retail Sector.”
