EMERGENCY services have been called to an accident on the M6 this morning, Tuesday 17 December.
The crash, between two vehicles, happened about 7.30am southbound close to junction 21A at Croft for the M62.
Lanes two and three were closed and police and Highways officers on the scene. Now the carriageway has been closed and traffic is at a standstill as the emergency services work.
Queues are already being reported in the area with traffic back to junction 25 at Bryn.
