Two councils have been slammed by local residents of Moss Road, Halsall Lancs.
Sefton Council & West Lancashire Borough Council have both failed to communicate to provide adequate signage for LGV vehicles travelling in the area as Town Lane has been closed off for the housing development by Barrett Homes.
The diversion route is 7.5t weight limit Moss Road. From the A570 2.5miles away there is no warning that the road is closed or infact once you get to the closure that there is a weight limit road with no turning space.
Be warned anybody travelling to the Southport area that the police are patrolling and stopping LGVs and issuing fines despite the local councils mistakes.
