This Thursday 21st of January WLMGOC held its annual general meeting at Briars Hall with a good attendance of members and all 10 committee members present.
Along with all the minutes, reports, and general running of a successful motoring club (35 years young this year) and all the feedback that this entails we managed to get through it like a well oiled machine with no breakdowns!!
We also made our draw of 4x£100 cheque’s for local or deserving charities which are nominated by each member on the night. And the four charities that came out of the hat (so to speak) were Twinkle House,Freshfields Animal Rescue,Southport Lifeboat and Cumbrian Flood Relief of which cheque’s will be presented at a later date.
Also we received a lovely thank you certificate off Twinkle House for the donation that we had made earlier this month and although it it is nice to give it is also nice to receive and this certificate means a lot to the members of the club for there recognition of there ability to raise money for deserving charities.
