Local Award Winning Photographer Opens Studio to 4 Legged Friends “Pawtraits”

AN AWARD winning photographer from Southport has taken the first steps to start a new “Pawtrait” service in the resort, putting 4 legged friends in front of his camera.

North West wedding photographer Matthew Rycraft has made a successful career out of capturing the happy unions of countless satisfied newlyweds. He is now introducing to his portfolio of services, Portraits of pooches, after posting studio images of his own Dog, Ollie, which have proven very popular.

Matthew commented: “I’m really looking forward to welcoming dog owners to my studio. The idea came when I posted studio images of my dog Ollie, which got a fabulous response with clients asking if they could bring their dog in for a shoot.”

Matthew has spoke of his joy after deciding that his love for dogs has led him to create a unique product and service in Southport, offering dog owners the chance to have a portrait of their furry friend.

Matthew continued: “Dogs are fabulous to work with and with my love for these 4 legged friends, it’s the perfect mix. There’s a huge market for producing fabulous fine art portraits of dogs at a very high standard, and this is what I’ll be focusing on”
