Artists with a connection to Sefton are invited to submit work to the 93rd Annual Southport Palette Club Exhibition, which is the juried section of the Sefton Open. Submissions will be accepted at the Atkinson, Lord Street, Southport on 3 April 2019, 10am to 7pm.

The exhibition opens on the 13 April and will run for four weeks until the 11 May 2019.

The Palette Club exists to stage this annual exhibition to support and promote the work of artists and craftspersons living in, originally Southport and now, Sefton and its immediate surrounding area.

If you have strong connections with Sefton but live in other parts of the country you are eligible to submit your artwork.

Artists can submit up to three pieces of work, in any medium, which are shown to a selection committee for inclusion in the exhibition. Usually between 200 and 350 works of art make up the final exhibition, and most of the work is for sale.

The Sefton Open also includes work from a number of local art groups and societies, painting, drawing, photography and crafts.

Full details and entry forms can be found on The Atkinson website www.theatkinson.co.uk (search Sefton Open)
