Liverpool Road closed following two car collision, Birkdale
The emergency services were called to Liverpool Road, Birkdale at around 3.30pm this afternoon after two vehicles collided.
The road is currently closed between Stanley Avenue and Crescent Road.
Paramedics have been treating the injured at the scene.
At least one person has been transferred to hospital.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area, local diversions are in place.
