    LIKE TO TRY SOMETHING NEW?

By On The Spot News18th November 2019

Then give why not give joining a Rotary Club some thought?

Many have the perception that Rotary is just for older men but that is wrong as Rotary clubs are for both men and women of all ages.

Rotary is a global network of over one million people. People like you!  Individuals who enjoy meeting regularly with people who become friends.

The Rotary Club of Southport Links is a club made up of people who live from Formby to Longton and everywhere in between. People who enjoy being part of a prestigious, global organisation but on a local level is a club that likes to socialise, have fun (like helping with Children in Need) and raise funds for local and international causes.

Their members meet regularly for a meal at the Bold Hotel on Lord Street and often have an interesting speaker and they are looking to increase their membership.

Being a member of the Rotary Club of Southport Links gives members the opportunity to grow a social and if working a business network whilst at the same time through fundraising activities provide service to others and goodwill through their fellowship of business, professional, and community.

The club is looking to welcome new members so if you think that you would like to be part of caring club that is renowned for supporting not only charitable causes but also for looking after each other when needs arise then the Rotary Club of Southport Links is just waiting to hear from you.

If you would like to ‘give it a go’ under no obligation then give John Tarpey a call on 01772 815666. You will not have to ‘go it alone’ trying to find people to talk to on your first visit, quite the opposite, you will be made welcome and introduced to people from the moment you arrive. So, what is there to lose?

Remember, Rotary is not just for men, or an organisation only for the ‘great and good’, it is not ‘stuffy’ and you don’t have to be invited to join! Give John Tarpey a call, he will be very pleased to hear from you.
