Responding to Tommy Robinson’s BBQ in Manchester this Thursday (25th April) Lib Dem leader John Leech said:
“The Liberal Democrats stand united against the hatred that Tommy Robinson and his followers spread.
“Manchester is a liberal, progressive and forward-thinking city that cares deeply about inclusion, tolerance and equal rights.
“Tommy Robinson and his hateful agenda are simply not welcome here and we urge everyone to avoid this event.
“We are pleased to see that Manchester plans to rain all day too!”
