Readers have contacted OTS to say Southport is in dire need of a new ballroom scene.
one reader writes “I recently moved into the area and I am shocked and confused that there is a magnificent selection and variety of art, music and dance here but NO ballroom dancing.
“Strictly Come Dancing on the television is enjoyed and watched by so many.
“I am feeling miserable that there is only sequence dance available (follow each other in pairs around the room).
“I am a beginner presently enjoying private lessons like so many people.
“It would be magnificent if someone could arrange even a monthly event in Southport”
