Letter to the Editor: Why is Southport So Bad?

LETTER TO THE EDITOR

What on earth has happened to Lord Street?

And who allowed Southport to get so shabby. Southport was a great shopping area with nice classy shops, flowers hanging from canopies.

Roads were swept clean and kept tidy.

Not anymore.

Lord Street is now a street of secondhand shops, cafes and
jewellers.

Southport residents should get on to their council, to bring their seaside town back to the standard it used to be.

Even cut backs, which all councils have had, haven’t allowed their town to deteriorate as bad as Southport.
