Legendary Southport jeweller to close down after 30 YEARS of trading 
It’s time to present a gold retirement clock to the legendary Phillip Godfrey who hangs up his magnifying glass and calls time on his 30 year Southport business.
The designer goldmsith, who has worked in the town since the early 80’s says now is the time to slowly wind down the business.
Phillip told OTS News : “I am closing down my jewellery business in Southport after 30 years of trading here as a jewellery designer manufacturer and repairer.
“I’ve got a huge local client base in the north west and had some great times since opening in 1986, we will be closing the shop door on saturday the 25th of march, but i have moved my workshop to Maidenhead in Berkshire and will be concentrating on the one off designer work.
“My current Southport customers will still be able to have their work done by me as i will be in southport twice a month to visit family .
“I will offer a pick up drop off service . its been a really fantastic living in Southport and i will miss living in the centre of town!”
