Last years Charity Golf day at Southport Old Links GC raised £4001

Southport Lifeboat would like to belatedly thank Alan Chadwick and the members of the Old Links Golf Club for all their efforts during the 2014 Charity Golf Day. A huge total of £4001 was raised on behalf of our independent lifeboat service. This money will go towards improving the delivery of our service with the building of our new boathouse located closer to the beach.

The new boathouse will also be able to store all our life-saving assets under one roof, saving valuable time in reacting to emergency situations. The building will provide hot and cold running water, toilet and shower facilities, all of which are missing from our current boathouse.
