I’ve been parking on kingsway now for free since it was demolished, mostly due to the fact it would cost me about two hours pay to park in Southport town.
There’s no way of using public transport as most of us start too early (before 6am) and even when we finish its usually after midnight/1am!
Seeing that someone now “owns” kingsway – which I honestly think is absolute rubbish (probably just another pop up money grabber while the flower show is on) and that leaves those of us working unsociable hours out-of-pocket once again.
It’s high time the council did something to help us out and recognised that we are a major part of this town’s economy and without us it’d merely be amusements and mobile phone shops!
