Mr Lansman, who is Jewish, leads the dominant proletarian campaign assembly, which helped ensure that Mr Corbyn became Labour’s top man in 2015.
Nevertheless, now the close associate of Islington North’s MP has added to Mr Corbyn’s anti-Semitism difficulty by verifying that his social media was full of xenophobic posts from friends over the summer term.
He told the Financial Times that: “I’ve had times when I’ve woken up and I look at my iPad. There’s one morning I remember, not many weeks ago, when I was just horrified at things on my Facebook page from people who I regarded as friends.”
