Labour North West Regional Conference being held in Southport this weekend

Labour North West will be heading to Southport Theatre and Convention Centre to hold its regional conference on the 8th and 9th of February. Key Labour politicians, including Shadow Chancellor John McDonnell and Shadow Attorney General Shami Chakrabarti, will be speaking at the event.

This is the first time the conference has been held in Southport since 2010. Party members, MPs and Councillors from across the North West will discuss policy ideas, plan campaigns and hear key speeches at the event which is held annually. Up to 800 visitors are expected to attend the two day conference.

Leader of Sefton Council, Ian Maher said:
