Knife man wanted after skipping court

Police are appealing for information to find a man who we would like to speak to after he failed to appear at court in relation to a knife crime offence.

22-year-old Ryan Jones was arrested in April on suspicion of possessing a lock knife after a stop-search in Simons Croft, Netherton. He was charged and bailed but failed to attend South Sefton Magistrates Court later that month.

Extensive enquiries have since been ongoing to locate Jones. He is described as white, 5ft 8in tall, of medium build, with fair hair and blue eyes.

Jones has links to the Anfield area and across Merseyside.

Anyone who has seen Jones or has any information on his whereabouts is asked to contact the social media desk @MerPolCC, call 101 or you can call independent charity @CrimestoppersUK anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
