Knife crime classes delivered to Southport high schools

2nd April 2019

The negative consequences of carrying a knife can be life-changing, but it doesn’t have to be that way.

Over the last two weeks Officers from the Southport Local Policing Team have made knife crime presentations to classes at Christ The King and Stanley High Schools, having previously started these at Meols Cop High School in order to get these vital messages to our children. More presentations to other year groups at these schools and the other high school in Southport and Formby are in the planning stages and will continue in order to try and reduce the risk of knife related incidents among our young people.
