KGV Medsoc students enjoyed a full body examination in Liverpool this week when they visited the Bodies Revealed Exhibition, the Liverpool Museum and the Royal Liverpool Hospital.  After spending a morning looking at the intricate workings of the human body at the Bodies Revealed Exhibition, the students were taken around the Bereavement Centre and Mortuary of the hospital.   Their guide, Mike Murphy the head Anatomical Pathology Technician, led students through various departments including the body storage area and the post mortem lab. The students were given the chance to discuss the work carried out in the unit and many were so impressed that they have applied to become members of the Foundation Trust.
