KGV Science students enjoyed a visit to the Bodies Revealed Exhibition and Royal Liverpool Hospital’s Pathology Labs as part of a series of National Pathology year events. During the tour of the pathology labs, undertaken by Dr Lisa Bailey (Consultant in Clinical Chemistry) and Charlotte Hill (Healthcare Scientist), students looked at the automated process that examines over 4000 blood samples every day for signs of various diseases ranging from diabetes to HIV.
