KGV BTEC Sport second years giving Southport primary schools the ‘Tag 2 Twickenham’ experience

KGV classmates are running a ‘Tag 2 Twickenham’ tag rugby event at Southport rugby club on the 31st march 2015. This event gives primary schools children the chance to experience rugby in a fun and friendly environment.  The primary schools competing are:

St Johns crossens

St Patricks A

Birkdale

Ainsdale St Johns

Churchtwon

St Patricks B

Holy Trinity

Our lady’s of compassion

Our lady’s of Lourdes

Farnborough A

Farnborough B

Redgate

and some more to be confirmed.

The event is going to be run by KGV BTEC sport second years, with the help from Laura Rummens, Darren Brookfield and Claire Clarke who are the tutors at KGV. The schools previously mentioned have (and still have) KGV sport students going in to coach them tag rugby to ready them for the event that the students are putting on.
