Jones Homes set to complete 48-home development in Rufford

26th March 2019

Jones Homes is set to complete work on a three-year project to bring 48 new homes to Rufford.

Land at Roseacre Gardens, off New Road, has been transformed from a disused agricultural site into a stunning development of family homes. These were the first new homes to be built in the village for 20 years.

Work began in 2016 and since then a new community has formed, with the final four homes now available for sale.

Carol Barlow, Sales Director for Jones Homes Lancashire, said: “Rufford is a thriving area and it has been incredible to watch our residents enjoying life in the village.

“Now that the development is nearing completion, we are confident that the final homes will be purchased by people who fall in love with Roseacre Gardens, just as we have.

“Our aim at the outset was to provide high-quality homes that were befitting with this sought-after village. All four remaining homes at Roseacre Gardens are part of our Signature Collection, which offers Jones Homes’ highest specification. With added extras such as granite worktops and built-in Bluetooth sound systems, these truly are special homes which are sure to be treasured by their new owners.”

The development, which spans more than two hectares, also includes 14 two and three-bedroom affordable homes, which have enabled more local people to set down roots in the village.

As part of its planning agreement for Roseacre Gardens, Jones Homes has contributed more than £96,000 to enhance public open spaces and £46,000 for road improvements to support the expansion of the village.

As work draws to a close in Rufford, Jones Homes has begun demolishing buildings at a site in Mawdesley where 56 new homes will be built. The development at Goodyear Business Park will also bring a new Scout hut to the area.

The four remaining homes at Roseacre Gardens are five-bedroom detached houses, priced from £439,995 to £479,995. The show home is open daily from 11am to 5.30pm. More information is available at jones-homes.co.uk or by calling 01704 778311.
