Tapper’s Charity Coffee Morning to raise money and awareness for Sarcoma UK

Catherine and Sara told OTSNews.co.uk “Please join Tapper’s on Friday 12th August for a Charity Coffee Morning between 9am-Midday to raise money and awareness for the great charity Sarcoma UK.”

“We will be donating 50% of all our cake and coffee sales to the charity and this will also include any takeaway too.. So put it in your diary. If you’re stuck in work then treat your work mates”

“This charity is so close to our hearts as our Mum was diagnosed with Sarcoma in 2012. Sarcomas are rare cancers that develop in the muscle, bone, nerves, cartilage, tendons, blood vessels and fibrous tissues.

Mum had a lump in her elbow which grew to the size of a golf ball.. It was misdiagnosed a few times before it was eventually removed. It was only then when it was found out it was level 3 cancer. Mum was lucky and thanks to an amazing specialist team at The Royal in Liverpool and after an intensive course of radiotherapy at The Marina Dalgleish Centre she lives to tell the tale! She continues to have regular scans and thankfully they have remained clear to date.”

“Not only is it important for us to raise funds for this great charity but we really want to raise awareness as early diagnosis is key.”

“To get involved, donate or donate a raffle prize please get in touch.”

    “Catherine & Sarah”
