Jogger in distress on the Southport seafront

Paramedics were called to Marine Drive, Southport at 1:45pm this afternoon Sunday 25 January 2015 following an emergency call.

They arrived on scene within minutes to find a jogger about 40 years of age slumped over the sea wall having a fit.

The man was treated at the roadside before being transferred to hospital.
