To rapturous applause, Ainsdale man Jason Regan was presented with the Young Community Champion UK accolade in the Britain in Bloom RHS UK Finals yesterday.
BBC’s ‘The One Show’ was filming therein at the crowded Manchester event. This was in effect the country’s Horticultural Oscars.
Moreover, the entire hard-working Ainsdale in Bloom team were presented with a Silver Gilt award for their noble community efforts.
Addendum: Jason was also presented with the following in Bolton on 31st October.
NB. The team achieved the notable ‘Best Town in North West Award’ for Ainsdale in Bloom, 2nd year running.
