It’s all hands to the pint pump once more at the Shrimper in Marshside!

Although the pub closed down last year in bizarre circumstances, a new management team are busy refurbishing the Fylde Road pub into a brand new family friendly venture – set to open in March.

The pub will close temporarily on February 20th so the team can refurbish the entire building to include new toilets, brighter decor, a sunny beer garden and car park!

Set to return as the gem of Marshside, Manager Alex Machell said he is eager to make sure the family friendly atmosphere returns with a bang! He told OTS News: “A lot of people were sad when the Shrimper closed last year but now we’ll have an even bigger and better pub to bring to everyone.

‘Punch Taverns’ in this piece as well please as it is a joint venture with the brewery

“The refurbishment is a joint venture with the brewery ‘Punch Taverns’ –  we will reopen officially on March 29th in time for what we hope will be a huge influx of people enjoying the best of the summer weather – and of course the best service – at the shrimper!”
