Is the Churchtown Botanic Gardens lake here for good?

The north end of the gardens has been completely saturated with rainwater – and is now home to a flock of ducks.

Part of Churchtown’s Botanic Gardens has been left a waterlogged mess after torrential rain over December 2015.

Churchtown resident, Dean Blanchard, 41, said: “It’s very sad to see the park flooded, especially now it’s nearly spring. As you walk around the park you can see that the drains are blocked and theres no sign of them being cleared.

In January there was an attempt to drain the flood water(below).
