To celebrate International Women’s Day all this week we will be featuring women involved in various roles at Southport Football Club.
Day One: Jennifer Barton
Jennifer Barton is the Events & Hospitality Manager at the Club.
“I have always had a soft spot for Southport FC as I used to watch my dad play here, I was a regular ball girl and sometimes mascot.
It is great to be a part of all the changes that have happened recently and it’s exciting to see the club moving forward.
My role as Events & Hospitality Manager helps me further these changes by organising functions and welcoming new people to see the development of the stadium. Working on a match day running the hospitality is great fun and it’s always nice to see the buzz around Haig Avenue on a Saturday when there is a home game.
My inspiration is my Mum, she taught me that anything is achievable if I believe in myself”
