A Czech fashion designer who has had her work modelled in Paris and London will be bringing her clothes to Southport for the upcoming resort fashion show.

Alena Kudera will be showcasing her innovative designs from her Kudera brand during the show on April 24.

Although now residing in Liverpool, Alena is originally from the Czech Republic and since graduationg with a first class degree at John Moores University, she has gone on to show off her work in shows across the world including London, Paris, China and Kuwait.

Alena Kudera Said: I’m excited about displaying her work at the Southport Fashion Show.

“There is a clear personality and vision in my fashion work and I want my customers to feel the excitement and that it is an “event” when they wear my clothes.

“My designs are intense and energetic with the results sometimes playful, sometimes sensual; body conscious pieces that enhance the wearer.

“My ideal is to produce elegant and comfortable clothes with unexpected and intricate detail; investigating different fabric and materials to create new design ideas.”

The designer was born and raised in the Czech Republic but moved to Merseyside in 2008.

She continued: “When I left the Czech Republic and came to live in the UK I realised that there was conformity in high street fashion that out of both necessity and personality I felt compelled to respond to.”
