The emergency services were called to Hoghton Street today following a 999 call, Monday 6 July 2015.
The collision happened at around 5:15pm, the ambulance turned up at around 6.30pm
A witness at the scene said:
“The car jumped the lights and clattered the rider. Initially the rider seemed okay, he later started complaining of chest pains.
The rider was able to sit up in the rear of the car that ran him down, whilst the driver of the Toyota was made to sit in the police car.
I do hope the motorcycle rider is okay, it shouldn’t take over one for an ambulance should it”.
