Important information about The National Lottery website

Our new website launches late on Monday 1st September 2014. This will have a fresh new look, designed for the best website experience whether you are using it on a smartphone, tablet or desktop computer.

As we prepare for launch, we will have to temporarily shut down services on, and access to the website will be limited this weekend.

•  Until 7.30pm on Saturday 30th August, you can use the website as usual to play games, including that night’s Lotto and Thunderball draws, as well as check results and manage your Account.

•   After 7.30pm on Saturday 30th August, access to the website will be limited. You won’t be able to Sign in to your Account, play games, or review your transactions. If you have won, we will send you a notification email as usual. However, you won’t be able to Sign in to your Account to check your winnings until the new website goes live late on Monday.

•   From about 9.30pm on Saturday 30th August, after the Lotto and Thunderball draws have taken place and the results are verified, we will publish all the latest winning numbers for Lotto, EuroMillions, Thunderball and Lotto HotPicks online.

Any tickets you’ve bought online before 7.30pm on Saturday 30th August will be entered into your chosen draw(s) as normal. If you have a Direct Debit, it will keep running as usual.

During this time, you will still be able to buy National Lottery tickets and Scratchcards at your local retailers.

When the new website launches, the address ( and your Account details will be the same as before. You will be able to explore all the changes we’ve made as well as playing games, checking results and reading the latest life changing stories.

In the meantime, we are sorry for any inconvenience caused by the disruption and we thank you for your patience.
