Following official confirmation that our lightning – strike campaign to save the Brookdale Resource Centre in Woodvale, Southport, was successful it was celebrations all around. It was simply ‘not right’ or logical that Sefton Council had originally planned to close this essential specialist, dementia – care centre and a great many people agreed with us. Friends of Brookdale wish to thank everyone who helped to make a difference.
