A Southport man said he was nearly physically sick after discovering a dead fly wrapped up within their McDonald’s breakfast order this morning.
The hungry customer who had purchased their meal from Ocean Plaza McDonalds was all but ready to tuck into their double sausage McMuffin before noticing an odd black lump stuck to the wrapping of their meal.
When they inspected it closer they were horrified to discover it was a dead housefly.
The customer immediately launched a complaint to McDonalds who have apologised and say they are investigating the discovery.
The customer has now warned others in the resort to be careful when ordering and to make sure they check the contents of their meals before eating to ensure there are no dead flies inside it.
