The emergency services were called to Shore Road, Ainsdale following a 999 call at around 3.15pm this afternoon, Tuesday 13 October 2015.
A motorcyclist collided with the side of a Mercedes resulting in the motorcyclist been thrown into a wall on the corner of Delamere Road.
Paramedics treated the motorcyclist at the scene before transferring him to hospital.
Road traffic police are still at the scene carrying out investigations. The condition of the motorcyclist is not yet know, update will follow.
