Hightown Gin festival tickets on sale

27th February 2017

Tickets are now on sale for the Ginsider Gin and Cider festival later this year.

The Ginsider 2017 festival is set to take place on June 3 and 4 at Hightown Woods – launched as a joint venture  by Southport based events company Changing Events and Roadhaus Bar, as a celebration of craft gins and specialist ciders.

Changing Events CEO Anthea Thomas said: “This is the first event of it’s kind that we have put on and already the feedback is so encouraging that there are plans to make the Ginsider an annual event!

“The two day festival of gin, cider, great food and music, will be held in Hightown Woods -perhaps best known for it’s Christmas Grotto!

“We are dedicated to providing the area with a new boutique festival that the people of Sefton will to be proud of and we are eager to make sure we celebrate the very best of local as well as some big names!

“The selection of gins will be excellent with the onus on small scale producers such as the latest Birkdale Gin.

“The festival will be held in teepees deep in the woods, with live music, hot food and of course plenty of gin and cider as well as a selection of continental beers and cocktails.

“So far in terms of entertainment we have music from local acts Daniel Mahon, Kimberley Fox, Seamus Mcloughlin, Tiny Little Robots and ‘Definitely Oasis’, with many acts to be added.

“Food will be provided by Scrumpy Pig with more outlets to be added.

“We are now on the hunt for sponsors to be part of this unique and exclusive event.

“Roadhaus are a team who converted a VW campervan into a trendy new mobile bar and they aim to provide the North West with a drinking experience which is quirky and affordable.”
