High Winds cause Minor damage over night
High winds caused a tree branch on Lord Street to snap in the early hours of this morning, Tuesday 31 March.
A member of the public quoted:
“The branch was over hanging in the road only being held on by the Christmas lights”.
No one was injured
The tree was reported Sefton Council by a member of the public at around 9am and at 12:30pm the Christmas lights contractors ensured the area was safe.
