Two cars have been left stranded near to the entrance of Birkdale sands.
A Volkswagen and a Golf which has been left at the makeshift car park on Weld Road are now stranded after flood water from storm Ciara made water levels rise.
People have been warned to stay away from the coast for their own safety.
It’s not known why the two cars have been left in the car park after coastal rangers gave plenty of warning to leave the area Both drivers will now have to pay to have their cars recovered.
