Officers from Southport Community Team responded to a report of Theft from Debenhams Store, Lord Street (Tuesday 12 February) where a well known shoplifter had entered the shop and stolen perfume to the value of £154.
Warren Wright 46 years of age from Southport, was located nearby and arrested.
Upon arrest he was also found to be in possession of a quantity of Class A Drugs; notably Heroin & Crack Cocaine.
Wright was taken in to police custody and interviewed, he was subsequently charged with both offences and is due to appear in Court on 27th February 2019.
