Heroic Jimmy ends brave fight 18 years after escaping horror crash

Tributes have been paid to a Southport man who bravely fought back from the brink of death after a horrific car accident 18 years ago.

James Stewart Webb, known as Jimmy, sadly passed away earlier this week at 59 surrounded by his loving friends and family, 18 years after miraculously surviving a horror RTC and three years in a coma.

At 41 Jimmy was involved in a Road traffic accident were he sustained Serious Head Injuries, Multiple fractures to his leg and pelvis and lay in a coma for nearly 3 years.

Slowly but surely Jimmy began to show his family that he was waking from his coma and soon he baffled doctors by even speaking again.

Jimmy made sure he lived life to the full despite his disabilities and he never ceased to amaze health professionals and family members as he defeated the odds countless times and continued to fight tirelessly to the end.

Jimmy was a inspiration to all who knew him and never give up and never ceased to amaze those surrounding him a true hero and legend Jimmy webb.
